Cavities

Cavities, the result of tooth decay, occur when acid-producing bacteria break down the enamel of your teeth, creating holes. To address this, We perform a process known as a filling. This involves removing the decayed material from the tooth, cleaning the affected area, and then filling the cavity with a material such as composite resin to restore the tooth’s integrity and function. In instances where the decay is too extensive, compromising the tooth’s structure or causing significant pain, a baby root canal or an extraction might be necessary. We always aim to preserve natural teeth when possible, using extraction as a last resort and discussing replacement options to maintain child’s dental health.
